Fast Friendly and Affordable Chiropractic Care
Troy Pain Relief Center was started in 2004 by Dr. Michael Berg with the intention of resolving the “one-size-fits-all” approach to chiropractic care. Each patient who walks through the doors of our facility is treated on a unique, case-by-case basis. This approach gets to the root cause of a condition for effective ways to address issues that have not been resolved with other treatments elsewhere.
In addition to chiropractic services, we offer massage therapy to complement and enhance treatment options.
Spinal decompression therapy is has been proven to be effective in the treatment of many difficult conditions like sciatic pain and chronic lower back pain and can be part of a treatment plan for automobile accident injuries.

Meet Our Staff
Dr. Michael Berg, DC: Chiropractic has been in Dr. Michael Berg’s family for generations. Since completing his education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1994 he encountered patients who had difficulty responding to the general chiropractic care. After much research and experience, he found effective ways to address some of the most stubborn aches and pains such as sciatic pain, pinched nerves, rotator cuff injuries, etc.
Dr. Berg has been a chiropractor for over 2 decades and in 2004 he opened a pain relief center to address difficult health issues in a supportive environment to help patients reach their optimum wellness.
That endeavor has now reached what it is today; a beautiful, spa-like environment in the center of Troy, Illinois where the patient is the top priority. Dr. Berg wants to help each patient uniquely which is why he has dedicated special training in correcting stubborn problems. We understand that therapies do not work the same on each person so our mission is finding the root of the problem and helping you to be the best you can.
Dr. Berg has extensively studied leading edge chiropractic and physical therapy techniques including Motion Palpation, Gonstead, Diversified, Drop Table, McKenzie Technique, Activator Instrumentation, Impulse Adjuster Instrumentation, Active Release Technique, Toggle, Flexion Distraction, and other effective modalities. He applies principles based on the studies of Stuart McGill core stabilization and corrective exercises to help you achieve maximum low back, neck and shoulder stability. He is always available to answer your questions and encourages this type of interaction. He continually monitors your symptoms to achieve maximum lasting relief.
Dr. Angeline Beato, DC: Also known as Dr. Angi, she was born in Puerto Rico and from a young age had a strong passion for caring for others. Dr. Angi pursued her undergraduate education at InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico and holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biomedicine. She was involved in multiple applied-science research projects during this time.
She became interested in chiropractic after noticing a growing issue of neck and back problems in too many people around her. She found that the limited treatment of pain meds were merely masking the symptoms and sometimes not even offering relief. She discovered that Chiropractic Medicine and Acupuncture offered a solution. Dr. Angi achieved a graduate from Logan University Collage of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO and became certified in Acupuncture by the age of 24. She has been board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and Illinois State Chiropractic Examiners.
Dr. Angi emphasizes improving health, performance, and quality of life naturally and non-invasively. Dr. Beato utilizes evidenced informed practices and is grounded in current research and the latest innovative health technology.
